Security Coordinator 2 - Rolling Meadows

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Computer Security Coordinator to join the Information Systems Security (ISS) team in Rolling Meadows, IL. The ISS team consists of Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) and a Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), and Computer Security Coordinators. This position is in direct support of the ISSM/ISSOs.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing data transfer agent duties
  • Creating and managing media
  • Scanning documentation
  • Updating hardware and software baselines
  • Ensure equipment is properly marked, and assist in Control Change Boards (CCBs)in compliance with the JSIG manual

ESCSOBasic Qualifications:
  • Associates degree and 6 months of IT experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED and2 years of ITexperience is required.
  • Must have experience with the following applications:Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and Visio.
  • Candidates must have a currentDOD Secret level security clearance to be considered.
  • Must be able to obtain, and maintain, aTop Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Security would be ideal.
  • Experience supporting security or information assurance customers would be highly desirable.
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level I security certification (Security+) would be ideal.
  • Active Top Secret Security clearance a plus.
