SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 3

We are currently seeking an SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 3 to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia.


  • Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents, such as:
    • Using test equipment to identify malfunctions
    • Tuning RF bandwidth paths
    • Isolating malfunctions
    • Incorporating engineering drawings
  • Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as:
    • Testingcircuits
    • Measurewave forms
    • Tracing relationships in signal flow
  • Uses complex test instruments such as:
    • Networkanalyzer
    • Spectrum analyzers
    • Signal generators
    • Automated computer test equipment
  • Work may be reviewed by Manufacturing Analyst for general compliance with accepted practices
  • Provide technical guidance to lower level technicians


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have one of the following:
    • High school diploma / GEDwith a minimum of 8 years of relevant electronics experience
    • Associates degree or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in an electronics-related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant electronics experience.
  • Must be able to 1 st shift (2nd shift hours, as needed)
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
  • Experience using test procedures, work instructions and other process documents.
  • Experience taking measurements using instruments such as digital multi-meters, LCR meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
  • Trouble shooting to component level.
  • Experience with Automatic Test Equipment/In Circuit Testers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have Associates Degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 6+ years of relevant electronics experience
  • Ability to train lower level technicians.
  • Experience using test procedures, work instructions and other process documents.
  • 2+ years' Experience with Automatic Test Equipment and In Circuit Testers.
  • 4+ years Analog, Digital and RF Circuitry knowledge
  • Ability to assist engineering in test/process improvements.
  • Ability to aid in providing root cause failure analysis reports.
  • Work experience in a challenging production environment
