The Northrop Grumman Technical Services team is seeking an experienced military professionals interested in a challenging work environment supporting the US Army Mission.

Sets up and maintains the physical network required for MTC exercises & classrooms. Resolves interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia, VoIP, Mission Command systems, and telephone and video conferencing.

Performs network and system administration duties and provides technical support and troubleshooting to users. Responsible for the configuration & maintenance of the Cisco Call Manager & Cisco IP phone Network. Analyze voice, data, and multi-media communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Performs network administration duties and provides technical support and troubleshooting to users. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and participate in special projects. Provides cross training for other technicians. Maintains accountability and responsibility for all assigned equipment.

Must have a strong familiarity with DoD/Army security documentation, system security engineering designs, and network information assurance concepts. Technical skills and experience include fundamentals of network design and system engineering, security practices and awareness of resources to secure networks. The candidate should have technical skills related to documenting system security and network information assurance.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 7 years' experience in network engineering.
Candidate must be IAT level II Certified IAW DoD 8570.01. GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP or higher.
Candidate must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNA or GSNA Certification is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering.
