SCA Computer Operator IV-CIC/WARSIM (Part time on Call)

Northrop Grumman Technical Services has a part time opening in its Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) for a Command Information Center {CIC) Operator. We're looking for someone who is seeking challenging opportunities and the ability to make a difference by working side by side with the Department of Defense and other Government organizations. CIC Operator is responsible for implementation of Command Information Center (CIC) clients systems and programs for SharePoint Services, Adobe Connect, Video Teleconference (VTC) and Virtual 3D (V3D) Maps. The CIC operator provides assistance with setup and support for MCTP Warfighter and JCW Exercises and makes recommendations on new software, hardware, and CIC site setup procedures. The CIC operator is responsible for operation and administration of Northrop Grumman proprietary software and information systems designed to assist JCW and MCTP exercise control staff. She/he is also responsible for providing routine operational knowledge and user information on the use of SharePoint, VTC and V3D Maps services. Applicant should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows7 OS, and be familiar with military protocol related to high level conferences and meetings. This is a part time on call position.Basic Qualifications: • Associate Degree/College with 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Two years recent experience with military modeling and simulations is a must.
  • Graduate of US Anny NCO Advanced Course, Warrant Officer Advanced Course, or equivalent training or experience is important.
  • Our computer operators typically have two or more years of experience working on Battalion or higher staff headquarters or equivalent.
  • Must have or be capable of attaining a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: • Multiple Mission Command (MC) systems experience is desirable.
