Northrop Grumman Technology Services is currently seeking an SCA Computer Operator 4 to join our growing team at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.

This position will be in support of the WR-ALC effort to capture and maintain the part indenture content represented in Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) technical orders for weapon systems managed by the Air Force.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates creation of comprehensive, structured Bill of Material (BOM) data along with sustainment of such data.
  • Monitors and operates computer to process data.
  • Creates best practice documentation
  • Provides and documents process and software training.
  • Processes a range of scheduled routines.
  • Tests software and a range of applications and tools before deployment to ensure minimal production impact.
  • Works under minimal supervision to operate the system, resolve common query error conditions, and to diagnose and decrease stoppage and error conditions not fully covered by existing procedures and guidelines (e.g., making adjustments to maintain or restore operations).
  • Thinks creatively to resolve error conditions if standard procedures do not provide a solution.
  • Maintains DB of workload and assigns workload as needed.
  • Prepares production, quality and statistical reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have one of the following:
    • A high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of technical order (TO), technical writing (TW), or mechanical integrity software experience
    • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of TO, TW, or mechanical integrity software experience
    • A Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of TO, TW, or mechanical integrity software experience
  • Must be eligible for a position of Public Trust
  • Must be able to work on-site at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System, Rules Processing, JEDMICS, D200, D043, Graphic Extraction (GE), Engineering Drawing Relationship (EDR), and Full Text Content Search (FTCS) data.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of AF Technical Orders, PCMS, Illustrated Parts Breakdown data.
  • Advanced level experience with data enhancement tool sets: PCMS GUI, Automated Data Cleanup (ADC), ABBYY Fine Reader, Adobe Acrobat, and UltraCompare.
  • Possess a current or recent (90 days) Common Access Card (CAC) and the ability to maintain.
  • General experience with file structures, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) and the use of Extensible Markup Language (XML).
  • General experience with SGML tagging.
