Performs duties as a Computer Based Trainer II for the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Multi-resolution (MRF) and Entity resolution federations (ERF) providing the end user with a command post exercise simulation configured to the specifications provided by the senior Computer Systems Analyst and Program Manager. Serves as a Collective Trainer, major tasks include Mission Command Staff Collective Training to include Exercise Design, the Military Decision Making Process, Mission Command staff processes, TOC functions and tactical operations using AMCS digital systems. Develops products and AMCS databases that support training for Mission Command exercises. Must be versed and able to train units in the War Fighting Functions (WfF). Responsible for digital sustainment instruction for AMCS systems in classroom and Tactical Operations Centers (TOC) environments. Assist units in the development of training requirements and exercise training tasks for TOCs and subordinate staff war fighting functions. Serves as staff officer for the Higher Control Cell (HICON). Responsible for developing the training requirements based on commanders training objectives (CTOs) and MTC activities to simulate or stimulate higher headquarters requirements during exercises. Responsible for providing AMCS products, providing "over the shoulder" TOC support, using CPoF and other AMCS for all Mission Command Exercises as required. Build graphics and serves as Corps/ Division/ Brigade WfF Staff member in the HICON. Trains Assistant Instructors (AIs), maintains and updates scenarios, OPORDs and Programs of Instruction (POIs) and coordinates RTOC, work cell and/or classroom setup and connectivity with technical staff. Provides input to the collective training and technical teams for collective exercises and training events. Builds detailed Battle Plans, Master Scenario Events Lists (MSEL) and other exercise design products. Provides input and quality control for all Mission Events, products and actions on CPoF and other AMCS. Must have expert knowledge of CPoF, JCR and other AMCS, processes, current operations and Mission Command doctrine. Other duties and projects as assigned by the Site Manager. Candidate should be knowledgeable in Battle staff training and the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP). Will cross train on other AMCS systems as required. Background in Corps, Division, Brigade and Battalion Operations preferred. Good verbal and OPORD writing skills required. Ideal candidate would be a former Combat Arms Officer or Warrant Officer/NCO. Must have the ability to mentor unit officers, Warrant Officers and NCOs.

Basic Qualifications: • Must have a minimum of five years' experience in TOC operations and AMCS skills.

  • Requires the ability to communicate and lead other collective trainers in the execution of Mission command training.
  • Must be a US citizen with a secret or higher security clearance; applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and drug screening.
  • Must be willing to travel outside Fort Sill 2-4 times/year for up to 3 weeks/trip.
  • Experience in Corps, division, brigade or battalion operations required.
  • Instructor experience and/or certification required.
  • Tactical MDMP and OPORD writing skills required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Joint or Army Decisive Action exercises.

Tactical Mission Command/CPoF MC13 or higher; Army Instructor certification/experience with other AMCS systems, (CPoF, JCR, AFATDS, JADOCS, TAIS, AMDWS,DCGS-A, etc.) and JLLTC ERF, MRF/WARSIM simulations systems or Army Low Overhead Tactical Trainers (ALOTT) and Security , A or other technical certification's a plus.
