Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Manufacturing Operations Test Engineering Team seeks an RF Test Engineer to support Factory Acceptance Test Operations in the Sub-Array area.
We are seeking a person who is interested in Test Engineering and has a Radio Frequency (RF) background. The chosen candidate will work with various products and will support the testing of production hardware. The RF Test Engineer's activities will range from hands-on testing/troubleshooting, to analysis of failure trends, and root cause/ corrective action.
Roles and responsibilities of the RF Test Engineer include, but are not limited to:
•Designs, develops, and implements testing and analysis methods and equipment
•Supports test technicians through troubleshooting and training
•Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements
•Supports First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and hardware deliveries
•Analyzes test data and identifies early trends
•Supports program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
•Collaborates with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutions
The right candidate will have analytical skills to review requirements, test plans, and test scenarios; and the ability to effectively communicate and work with manufacturing, test engineering, and design engineering personnel. He/she should also be self-directed, organized, team oriented, and have previous experience with MS Office tools.
This requisition may be filled as an RF Test Engineer or as a Principal RF Test Engineer based on qualifications listed below.
