RF Systems Engineer 3/4

Northrop Grumman, Cincinnati OH is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer within the ISR Systems group.

In this position, the candidate will support and eventually lead the design and implementation of low SWAP sensor systems. This position requires system and/or subsystem design leadership and experience in any of the following: RF hardware design, embedded systems design, VHDL or DSP design. We are primarily seeking individuals with experience in the design and execution of RF communication, RF collection, EW programs or special communications expertise. Typical teams are 5-10 people and require our engineers to have diverse skillsets that apply to the entire lifecycle of a program. This position allows the candidate to have direct contact with our end customers and end operators of our products that allows for pragmatic and early feedback from the user community during the design process.

The campus has a wide range of products spanning multiple technologies such as SIGINT sensors, low SWAP communication transceivers, EW products, EO/IR, and chemical/biological sensors.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

MSRAD

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications for level 3:

  • Recent RF design experience and a track record of successful product designs
  • 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance is required

Basic Qualifications for level 4:

  • Recent RF design experience and a track record of successful product designs
  • 9 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Master's Degree in relevant field
  • Related publications, patents, and/or invention disclosures
