Quality Analyst 4

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division seeks a Quality Analyst 4 for our Sunnyvale, CA location.

Quality Analyst 4 takes leadership of the MA Department resource and capital plans, performs cost account management for MA supported programs, implements and reports program and department quality metrics. Supports analysis and determination of Marine System’s rework goals using statistical methods, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that program earned value performance is maintained and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure program, resource and capital goals are met. Job duties include:

Assume Cost Account manager responsibilities for key “large programs”

Work closely with Program Financial Analyst to generate baseline budgets, estimates at completion, Variance analyses and reports.

Take leadership of the MA Department Resource Plan, developing a 5 year plan on an annual basis working closely with the Director.

Develop & maintain the 5 year MA Department Capital Plan: will work closely with the department managers & director; work from existing 5 year plan and prepare updates annually.

Coordinate monthly MA Metrics data: work with each department manager to create monthly metrics data for reporting; conduct analysis to identify trends & potential problem areas for early action.

Perform other actions as needed to support MA Director.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and 10 years of related work experience.

Project Management and or Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management Experience preferably in a DOD environment.

Understanding of capital asset planning and justifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of Earned Value Management experience in a DOD environment.
