Responsibilities for this Pipeline requisition are:

This position is located in Clearfield, Utah and will be the Global Mission Excellence & Technology (GMET) Quality Analyst for the JSTARS RECAP program. The selected candidate will report to the Flight System Solutions GMET manager, and will support Quality Management System activities related to the program, performance issues and concerns. This position primarily will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of an AS9100 compliant Quality Management System (QMS) for the JSTARS RECAP program, to include establishment and maintenance of any required procedures, internal auditing and corrective action programs, the development of sound program metrics, and facilitation in root cause analysis and risk management processes. Strong communication skills will be required in order to support this geographically separated program and coordinate with quality representatives from other organizations within NGTS.

The successful candidate must possess a complete and thorough understanding of all facets of Quality as well as current auditing practices. The successful candidate must have a superior ability to establish and nurture an excellent working relationship with all Customers both internal and external.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) required.
  • Minimum of five (6) years' experience.
  • In lieu of formal education, 10 years of relevant experience may be considered
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor trained.
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts, process and tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient with the MS Office Professional suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint)
  • U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain a D.O.D. Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science (MS) in engineering
  • Advanced use of MS Excel formulas, Access databases and Powerpoint chart building
  • Familiar with AS9006 and AS9115 requirements
