Northrop Grumman is seeking a Quality Analyst 3/4 to join our team o in Baltimore, Maryland. Position could work virtually based on candidate qualifications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols with the supply base in addition to products manufactured and/or assembled at Northrop Grumman.
Perform supplier surveillance activities designed to manage and improve supplier performance, productivity, and process validation.
Develops, reviews, and analyzes corrective action reports, and related tools, in an effort to reduce and eliminate defects.
Develops root cause and corrective action plans in response to Northrop Grumman or supply base process issues/deficiencies.

Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Possesses the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers and members of the supply base, with varying experience levels and job responsibilities. Develops and maintains positive relationships with others.
Understands continuous process improvement (CI) principles (i.e. Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma framework, etc.) and can effectively develop and execute CI initiatives.
Understands general contracting principles in a Department of Defense environment. Possess the ability and skill to review and interpret regulatory requirements, specifically in the area of Mission Assurance.
Understands, and can execute, Quality/Mission Assurance auditing programs.
Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
Effectively collaborates with engineering, manufacturing and other program execution functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor's Degree in related field and 6 years of industry experience within quality, auditing, manufacturing, engineering and/or hardware-related. Or 4 years of industry experience within quality, auditing, manufacturing, engineering and/or hardware-related with a Master's Degree.
Strong analytical skills.
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
Bachelor's Degree in related field and 10 years of industry experience within quality, auditing, manufacturing, engineering and/or hardware-related. Or 8 years of industry experience within quality, auditing, manufacturing, engineering and/or hardware-related with a Master's Degree.
Strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications for Level 3 or 4:
SAP expertise.
ISO 9001, T9001B, and/or AS9100 trained auditor
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified
Advanced Excel skills.
Active Secret Clearance.
