Quality Analyst 3- Huntsville, AL

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division seeks a Quality Analyst 3 to be a part of our Mission Assurance Organization located at our Huntsville, Alabama location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develops and implements program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.

Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems (production).

Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.

Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met

Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

Audits internal processes and writes audit reports. Risk Based Process Evaluations.

Assists with inspections: Receiving/ First Article/ Production/ Final.

Generates Quality Notices/SCARs using SAP.

Tracks Supplier Assessment Management System reports and Supplier Quality Ratings.

MAQEA

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

Six years of industry experience within one or more of the following areas: Quality, Auditing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Business Management.

Quality Auditing and/or Inspection experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance. US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 trained auditor.

SAP trained.

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Active Secret DoD Security Clearance.
