Quality Analyst 2- San Diego, CA

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division seeks a Quality Analyst 2 to work at its San Diego, CA location.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Communication Division, Avionics and Tactical Networks, our expertise is in delivering complex equipment to enable modern battlefields and support aviation missions. Our focus is on the world of avionics, radio and electronic warfare product applications to enable networked communications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.

Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality metrics related to internal reporting requirements.

Supports the Mission Assurance Leads in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to the OU, BU, and Division.

Interfaces with production quality, supplier quality, manufacturing, engineering, and customer, and to ensure requirements are met.

Maintain customer CAR and SDL logs and drive the on time completion of customer's deliverables for the Mission Assurance Leads.

Coordinate collection, promulgation, and distribution of Quality Performance Dashboard metrics and data used by the company, program and customer.

Maintain/Manage weekly report files, ensuring all applicable documents completed and filed.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or Technical field.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to process and analyze data quickly identify areas for presentation or improvement opportunities.

Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance with Special Program Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of related work experience in Aerospace and military contract environments.

Proficiency using MS Office products, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

SAP experience.

Current active DOD secret clearance.
