Quality Analyst 2 (Documentation Control) - Richmond, VA

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance team for the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) Program and will be responsible for documentation management and review and audit processes and software related documents and specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance team for the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) Program and will be responsible for documentation management and review and audit processes and software related documents and specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and maintains a controlled documentation system, record retention, and information services functions including electronic records retention processes for the GCSS-Army Program.
  • Interprets and enforces all documentation formatting, standards, policies, and operating procedure requirements.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing software.
  • Manage and track open action items.
  • Review and audit functional and technical specifications for quality in preparation for project level gate reviews.
  • Participate and support project level peer reviews as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in STEM/ related technical field

3 years of related work experience

Experience or familiarity with Documentation Management processes

Must be able to possess an Army issued National Agency Background Check with Law and Credit (NACLC)

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with AS9100, IS9001 and/or CMMI standards

Experience with software configuration management

Familiarity with SAP software development

Ability to execute processes as documented and follows governance processes

Must be able to plan, organize, and establish priorities related to an assignment and the ability to work independently

Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong background and expertise in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel

Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills

Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business/technical teams and external consultants
