Proposal Analyst

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking Proposal Analyst to join our growing capture and proposal teams in McLean, Virginia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Works with the Proposal Manager to develop and execute schedules, generate proposal outlines, and provide compliance checks of proposal artifacts
  • Organizes and facilitates proposal reviews
  • Coordinates proposal staffing, onboard proposal consultants
  • Executes writing assignments contributing to management volumes, technical volumes, corporate experience, staffing plans, executive summaries, and oral presentations


Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of business development and/or program support experience
    • Master's degree with a minimum of 1 year of business development and/or program support experience
  • Must be willing to travel as much as 25% of the time
  • Must be able to work on-site in McLean, Virginia
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile techniques and tools
  • Must demonstrate excellent skills in critical thinking and writing
  • Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams
  • Must be proficient using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
