Job Description:

Develops, plans and schedules proposals. Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinates the collection and accumulation
of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.

The Ideal candidate would possess estimating skills such as:

- Familiarity with application of terms like:
- Escalation, Accounting Calendar, Equivalent Person (EP), Level of Effort (LoE), Cost Estimating Relationship (CER),
Parametric Estimate, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Summary Cost Elements (SCE), Cost Centers and theory
behind Improvement Curves/ Learning Curves/ Quantity Adjustment Curves
- Ability to evaluate RFE SSOWs and relate to departmental SOWs
- Ability to document and support a Task Description and Basis of Estimate that complies with the Proposal and FAR
requirement

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Material Cost Estimating, Proposal Analysis or Global Supply Chain experience OR a Master's Degree with 1 year of experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Specifically Excel and Word)

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with application of terms like:
- Escalation, Accounting Calendar, Equivalent Person (EP), Level of Effort (LoE), Cost Estimating
Relationship (CER), Parametric Estimate, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Summary Cost Elements
(SCE), Cost Centers and theory behind Improvement Curves/ Learning Curves/ Quantity Adjustment

- Ability to evaluate RFE SSOWs and relate to departmental SOWs
- Ability to document and support a Task Description and Basis of Estimate that complies with the

- Experience with MPM and SAP
