Responsibilities for this Pipeline requisition are:

Northrop Grumman Technology Services Team is seeking a Project Technical Lead 2 to join the JSTARS team. The selected individual will be responsible for the direct supervision of technical publication staff and the planning and coordination of technical publications efforts including: Establishing plans and processes for development, delivery, and sustainment of technical publications during all phases of development, test, and operations; program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a data package; identify design and issue impacts across products and communicating to all stakeholders; coordination with suppliers to understand and resolve issues associated with technical publications analyses and products; review and monitor status of technical publications including EVMS indices; prepare, maintain and manage schedules and develop status reports; identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risks; assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer requirements and objectives; prepare and present briefings to management. Strong verbal/written communication skills are essential.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Degree required with a minimum of 3-6 years' experience with AF technical publications development, sustainment and distribution.
  • Knowledge of Military Specifications, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) and other related technical and contractual documents.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance required.
  • Some travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing AF technical publication development/sustainment teams. Experience working in/on military aircraft.
