Project Manager 1

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking aProject Manager 1to join our growing team at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The selected candidate will have cost, schedule, and technical responsibility for B-2Forecasting and Collaborative Forecasting

Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision/management of the staff
  • Create project plans, including project schedules and budgets
  • Oversee and manage project execution to the plan
  • Integrate requirements vertically and horizontally across the project to ensure successful execution
  • Brief Northrop Grumman management and Air Force customers on project status
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Communicate staffing and lab needs to ensure projects are adequately resourced
  • Work with multiple engineering teams and cross-functional departments
  • Collaborate with Internal Work Orders (IWO) and Suppliers to perform project requirements
  • Lead proposal activities for new projects
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with6 years of project experience or Master's degree with4 years of project experience
  • Understanding of the Integrated Management Framework (IMF) process and concepts
  • Experience using Planning For DLA-Managed Consumables (PDMC) process, identified in AFMCI 23-205
  • Experience using Forecasting and Supportability Tool (FAST)
  • Experience in data queries and uploading data for FAST
  • Experience comparing Bill of material (BoM) to Technical Orders (TOs)

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Forecasting, Supportability, Logistics Analysis, and Inventory Research and Analysis Assistance
  • Experience working onDoD related projects
  • Experience presenting project performance to upper management and customers
  • Risk Management experience
