Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Manager 4 with experience in configuration management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

Our team operates in three segments: Design Engineering, DevOps, and Production/Responsible Engineering. Our Design Engineering team engineers the system and produces the procurement and drawing documentation required to physically build the product. Our DevOps engineering team develops and tests the documentation, automated scripting, and media needed to configure the system network and install a COTS baseline infrastructure. Our Production and Responsible Engineering team physically builds, configures, and sustains or delivers the system. Our Responsible Engineers are often asked to lead a team of technicians for system builds and manage the process end to end.

The Project Manager will be responsible for developing a Configuration Management (CM) release process in an Unclassified space, coordinating with the CM organization for needed approvals, and working with the hardware team to process the drawings, documentation, and media for successful project execution.

Essential Functions:

- Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation and release through Teamcenter

- Coordinate modification records for management control

- Manage process needs for engineering changes to the system as required

- Work closely with Engineers and Responsible Engineers to manage media, document, and drawing release needs

- Assist in executing engineering projects on schedule with knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes

- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities

- Good planning, coordination, and documentation skills

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.

- Minimum of 10 years ofproject managementor configuration management experience OR Master's Degree and 8 years of experience.

- Active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to be obtain a Top Secret Clearance and be accessed to a Special Access Program

Preferred Qualifications:
- Active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance within 4 years of last investigation

- Drafting Experience (Catia, Viseo, or equivalent)

- Ground Systems Experience

- Teamcenter Experience

- Configuration Management Experience

- Quality Assurance Experience
