Project Management 3 (Secret Clearance, Tinker AFB)

Seeking a candidate to oversee the operational aspects of multiple ongoing software upgrade projects and serve as liaison between software engineering and logistics technical writing teams. Assesses Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) Software issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring SSTR progress and for intervention and problem solving with project leads, and writers. Investigates anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports and technical writing data packages. Ability to work under only very general supervision in a fast paced small group. This position will also facilitate the development of Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) documents and associated technical data. Position is located at Tinker A.F.B. - Oklahoma City, OK.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with 6 years of experience in Project Management, S/W Engineering or Technical Writing. Current active Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years required. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidate should have a thorough understanding of the IFC process. BS degree in Computer Systems. Six years of related experience in logistics/software project management. Proficiency creating documents using Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML). Experience integrating new software and hardware requirements through testing, evaluation, and documentation.
