Project Management 2

Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Project Management 2. This position is located in Albuquerque, NM.

This is not a Manager position.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Additional duties:

  1. Provide and Track project documentation; Monitor and document achievements against milestones; and translate results into appropriate internal and external documentation.

  2. Participate in customer meetings to manage prioritization of requirements.

  3. Monitor an internal facilities ticketing system for any and all issues assigned to that area.

  4. Preparation and tracking of contract deliverables.

  5. Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and timekeeping).

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree/ 0 Years with Master's degree. Note: Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

  2. Must possess and maintain Top Secret Security Clearance.

  3. Must be able to lead and manage projects.

  4. Must be able to work and communicate with various levels of management.

  5. Must be able to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result.

  6. Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously.

  7. Must be able to gather, collate, or classify information.

  8. Must be able to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.

  9. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA

  2. Experience with using SharePoint for Document Management

  3. Experience as an AF Records Manager

  4. Experience working with Office 2013/2016

  5. Advanced knowledge of Excel

  6. Document Production Life Cycle

  7. File Configuration Management Experience.
