Program Subcontracts Liaison 3
The Program Subcontracts Technical Liaison is responsible for managing the manufacturing operations of contract suppliers including relationship management, technical issues, vendor selection and evaluation, schedule conflicts, and quality issues. Evaluates and resolves engineering related production problems related to manufacturing, design, quality and material engineering. Analyses engineering specifications and drawings; confers with quality, material, manufacturing and subcontractor to provide and obtain technical information; investigates reports of defective, damaged or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment or systems; and reviews production schedules and orders. Evaluates findings to formulate and drive execution of corrective action plans. Acts as a liaison betweencompany plants and contractors. Ensures that the product is available to meet the customer needs.
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative,through, practical and consistent with the organization objectives.
Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in severe program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
Frequent inter-organizational and outside supplier contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel and leadership on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. May develop and deliver presentations.

- 5 years of experience with a Bachelors in Science, 3 years with a Masters, 0 years with a PhD
- Complete understanding and wide application of technical, manufacturing, and business principles, theories and concepts in the field.
- Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrate the skill and to be able to perform complex professional tasks.
