Program Cost Schedule and Control Analyst 3 - Clearance Required

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Program Cost Schedule and Control Analyst 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK and the qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Strategic Systems B-2 IPT Cost Management department.

Responsible for Set-up baseline, estimate to completion, earned value monthly or weekly updates. Follow all Procedures and Guidelines for the proper application of EVMS standards. Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Supports and participates in reviews and audits with customer. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Program Management, Logistics, and Business Management to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, and earned value tracking. Responsible for Cost & Schedule Integration for assigned programs. Understands EV methodologies, processes, procedures, requirements. Understands ratios, EACs, Budgets, Actuals, etc. Understand charts, reports, etc. and provide advice to IPT's. Be able to provide recommendations to the Program Leadership written and in person. Assumes leadership role for IPT, as required. Provides training/guidance/mentoring to junior analysts.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years' of Financial Analysis experience
  • Must have an Active and current Secret clearance
  • Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel Skills, Word, Power Point
  • 3 years of Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • Experience within the Aerospace, Avionics, Space, or Defense industries
  • SAP, MPM, wInsight experience
