Principal/Sr. Principal Software Configuration Analyst (Northern Virginia or Washington D.C.)

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is looking for a highly motivated Principal/Sr. Principal Software Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at one our Northern Virginia locations (Herndon, VA; Fairfax, VA; Reston, VA) or Washington D.C. The Software Configuration Analyst supports planning and delivery of contract releases to operations.

Job Duties:
  • Maintains release schedules, by coordinating with technical teams and task/subtask specific configuration analysts to ensure successful delivery of releases
  • Coordinates with Government stakeholders, Product / Mission Owners, and other stakeholders for deployment and testing of releases
  • Coordinates with the integration and operations team to ensure environments are ready to receive the baselines, and provides release details, version documentation, for releases

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a Level 3 (Principal) or Level 4 (Sr. Principal)

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3 (Principal):
  • A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR A PhD; An additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirements
  • Experience in Agile release planning and management and using JIRA in Agile release Planning
  • Experience with a program that uses DevOps processes
  • An Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (or higher) with the ability to obtain Polygraph once hired
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4 (Sr. Principal):
  • A Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR A PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; An additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
  • Experience in Agile release planning and management and using JIRA in Agile release Planning
  • Experience with a program that uses DevOps processes
  • An Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (or higher) with the ability to obtain Polygraph once hired
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in workflow design and optimization
