Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal or Sr Principal Ops Program Manager based out of our San Diego, Rancho Carmel location.

The OPM for F35 program will be responsible for technical, cost and schedule and leading all Operations efforts involved with processing the modules through final test and operations leading to the delivering for many hardware module types. The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with technical leadership, program management, production control, global supply chain, and production supervisors to achieve hardware modules are built within cost and budget while meeting Operations build schedules. The chosen candidate will manage to a line of balance, work with suppliers, oversee and/or guide root cause and corrective actions to closure. They will work under general direction and develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers as they determine and develop approach to solutions.

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3 (Principal) are:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years' relevant rework experience, or 6 years with a Master's degree
  • Must have experience with new developmental designs to production without appreciable direction
  • Must have experience with project planning, schedule and cost performance
  • Must have CAM/ EV experience


Basic Qualifications for a Level 4 (Sr Principal) are:

  • Bachelor's degree with ten years' relevant work experience, or eight years with a Master's degree
  • Must have experience with new developmental designs to production without appreciable direction
  • Must have experience with project planning, schedule and cost performance
  • Must have CAM/ EV experience
