Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test

The Systems Engineering, Integration & Test team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Testbased out of Woodland Hills, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
Coordinates integrated testing activities.
Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.
Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

Basic Qualifications:

This position may be filled at higher grade based on the following qualifications

Bachelor's degree inSTEM related discipline with5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree inSTEM related disciplinewith 3 years of experience, or PhD in STEM related discipline with 0 years of experience.


Bachelor's degree inSTEM related discipline with9 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree inSTEM related discipline with7 years of experience, or PhD inSTEM related discipline with4 years of experience.


Prior experience in Systems Engineering or Integration & Test roles.
Working/Engineering use of MatLab.
Excellent presentation and writing/communication skills, self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Engineering or Physics from an accredited institution.
Leadership experience in an engineering environment.
Prior experience in Systems Engineering or Integration & Test roles.
Programming experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Prior experience in Integrated Avionics Systems.
Working/Engineering use of MatLab and DOORs.
Plus/bonus to have someone familiar with Python and SCADE or any other programming experience.
