Principal Systems Automation Tester

Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients, is seeking Principal Systems Automation Test Engineers. The position is located in Woodlawn, MD.

Description of the Work:
Ability to perform comprehensive testing in AWS environments. Work with technical Scrum teams on system requirements and specifications to ensure that requirements are testable and complete. Responsible for developing test plans and test scenarios. Responsible for managing defects via Jira or other tools. Maintain automated regression testing / Jenkins setup. Experience with testing tools including: unit testing (e.g., NUnit); load testing (e.g., Load Runner); browser testing (e.g., SauceLabs); and, cloud-based performance testing (e.g., SOASTA). Develop automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements. Execute test scripts during internal system testing. Document test issues and works with development team to validate/recreate. Provide operational testing support including performance testing support and provide recommendations for performance enhancement.

Responsibilities:

Perform retesting and regression testing.
Document test results for incorporation into the Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix.
Provide support to Client testers during acceptance testing, including test script walkthroughs, document testing issues and test results, and answering questions on system functionality.
Develop and implement program test plans, quality assurance plans, programs, and procedures using the testing tools.
Oversee tests to ensure that performance and quality products conform to established policy and standards.
Develop test reports.
Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies related to software and systems engineering.
Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
Interface with all program staff to ensure requirements are met.
Recommend corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD and 0 years of relevant experience, or9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
3+ years of experience working with Selenium.
Experience creating automation for Angular applications.
Experience developing automated test scripts, using of any of the following: Selenium, QTP, HP-UFT, Rational Functional Tester, and/or Junit.
Experience using collaboration and tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
3+ years of experience using Jasmine or similar JavaScript-based testing frameworks.
Ability to prepare comprehensive reports regarding testing progress/issues and remedial action.
Possess US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with the Federal government.
Prior experience working with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Experience with 508 compliance testing.
Familiarity with writing database scripts for backend validation.
Possess Certified Scrum Master Certification.
