Our multidisciplinary foundry team enables activities from development to sustainment process engineering. ATL is responsible for all aspects of semiconductor technology including design, mask making, wafer fabrication, test, and assembly. The candidate must be a strong team participant, have excellent communication skills, and be resourceful and multitalented. A strong understanding of semiconductor technology and PVD process and equipment engineering is essential.
The PVD Process Engineer must possess knowledge of sputtering and / or evaporation techniques and practices.
The PVD Process Engineer will be responsible for:
1. sustaining existing production and development PVD processes
2. designing and executing process/equipment improvement projects
3. developing new processes based on production and development program requirements
4. establishing standard operating procedures and engaging the production team to ensure these are followed
5. training technicians and maintaining process documentation.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications below:
Qualifications:
This requisition maybe filled at either the Principal or Sr. Principal level.
Basic Qualifications for Principal:
-BS in Electrical, Chemical, Materials or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical discipline and a minimum of 5
years of relevant experience in a Semiconductor Fab (3years with a technical MS and 0 with a PhD)
-Must be familiar with evaporation and / or sputtering techniques and practices
-Hands-on experience with evaporators and / or sputtering equipment from OEMs like CHA Industries, INNOTEC, Materials Research Corp., PERKIN-ELMER, Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT), AJA International, and MPT
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal:
-BS in Electrical, Chemical, Materials or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical discipline and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in a Semiconductor Fab (7years with a technical MS and 4 with a PhD)
-Must be familiar with evaporation and / or sputtering techniques and practices
-Hands-on experience with evaporators and / or sputtering equipment from OEMs like CHA Industries, INNOTEC, Materials Research Corp., PERKIN-ELMER, Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT), AJA International, and MPT
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience developing new processes and sustaining legacy processes in an R&D environment
-Experience in structured problem-solving methodology
-Experience leading and guiding the fab operation teams
-Experience developing technical specifications for process material procurement
-Experience developing technical specifications for equipment procurement
-Advanced knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
-Active Secret clearance
