Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Scrum Master to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.

Description of Work:
Support the product development process:
o Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other meetings
o Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress within the agreed reporting framework
o Maintain process documentation
o Support and enforce the Agile Methodology and Framework used by the project team
o Fulfill the role of the Scrum Master, leading product development teams in the delivery business critical, enterprise software development projects to production systems
o Ensure the Scrum Framework is implemented effectively and provides coaching and training at the team level to maximize benefits
Support the Product Owner
o Assist with product backlog maintenance as needed
o Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency
o Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs
o Assist with the launch plan and overseeing the coordinated roll out and delivery
Support the Scrum Team
o Assist with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value through story selection, definition of tasks and estimation
o Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools and best practices
Provide support with release management and facilitate release planning activities
Support the development and execution plan to support Agile Methodology, including: Development of process, templates, artifacts, training materials, and lessons-learned

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
7 years of experience
Certified Scrum Master
Experience working as part of a Scrum Team As Scrum Master, Team member, or a combination thereof
Experience with Agile Methodologies

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI w/FSP

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Knowledge SIGINT mission systems
Software/Systems Engineering experience
