Principal Project Management/Sr Principal Project Mgmt

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Sunnyvale, CA.

The Project Management Analyst oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Core responsibilities include evaluation and integration of program requirements across multiple customers and programs. Develop and maintain Launcher Integrated Program Schedule which integrates multiple programs and projects which affect the Launcher Subsystem. Track and manage the costs and performance of the program. Manage and track contract deliverables. Develop and maintain program instructions and long range logistics support plans and assist in the evaluation of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) request from various programs. Advise manager of problem areas and recommend solutions, support multiple customers.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

BQs for a Principal Project Management are:
• Bachelors degree and 6 years relevant experience or Masters degree and 4 years relevant experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi task and balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Working level knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a secret clearance

BQs for a Sr. Principal Project Management are:

•Bachelors degree and 10 years relevant experience or Masters degree and 8 years relevant experience.

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi task and balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Working level knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to manage Microsoft Project schedules
• Knowledge of setting up a program and managing in SharePoint
• Knowledge of Agile Development
