Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Management/Senior Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
This position will report to an IPT director and oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Planning, reviewing and reporting the status of projects and budgets to upper management as well as managing project schedules (EVMS) are a major focus of this position. Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Creatively developing mechanisms for monitoring and reporting project progress as well as intervention, problem solving and risk mitigation with project managers, internal customers, and contractors. This position also includes the following tasks: CDRL management, proposal (BOEs and TAs), misc. project support.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Management:
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of project management/related industry experience or Master's Degree and 3 years of project management/related industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance that was granted or renewed within the last 6 years
- The ability to obtain Special Program Access
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of project management/related industry experience or Master's Degree and 8 years of project management/related industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance that was granted or renewed within the last 6 years
- The ability to obtain Special Program Access
- Program health experience (cost & schedule, metrics, risk & opportunities)
- Master's Degree
- Current Special Programs Access
