Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. The selected candidate provides maintenance subject matter expertise for the development andsustainment of technical publications and training products. Oversees the maintenance aspects of ongoing projects for the development and sustainment environments for technical publications and training products. S erves as maintenance liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management for maintenance technical publications and training products. Validates and verifies maintenance technical publications and training products. Reviews the maintenance status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet the maintenance productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Assisting Cost Account Manager (CAM) activities for coordinating with cost and schedule management teams to maintain Earned Value (EV) of woBasic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with6 years of maintenance experience, or Master's degree with4 years of maintenance experience. - Active DoD Secret clearance and theability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access priorto start. Preferred Qualifications: - Active DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance with Periodic Review/Investigation within the last5 years - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management - Experience with Integrated Master Schedules / Microsoft Project / Earned Value Management Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
