Principal Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking eithera Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst or a Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst to assist with business management activities associated with a restricted program. This positionreports to theProgram's Business Manager and partners with the applicable Program Management team to establish strategy, prioritize requirements, and achieve program goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes. This position requires aSecret clearance andwill be located in Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet program objectives.
  • Ensures projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Interfaces with customers and project managers to integrate schedules.
  • Works with the Program Management Team to establish budget baselines, update ETCs, and prepare variance explanations.
  • Prepares ROMs and supports proposal activity.

This requisition may be filled at either a Programor Principal Program level based on the qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications (Program):
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline and 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 1 year of experience or an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project
  • U.S. Citizenship and an ActiveSecret Clearance (obtained or refreshed in the past 6 years) required to start
  • Position is contingent upon being able to obtain special program clearance within 12 months of hire
Basic Qualifications (Principal):
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline and 6 years of relevant experience or aMaster's degree and 4 years of experience or an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project
  • U.S. Citizenship and an ActiveSecret Clearance (obtained or refreshed in the past 6 years) required to start
  • Position is contingent upon being able to obtain special program clearance within 12 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience developing integrated master schedules for a Government Program
  • Working knowledge of EVMS cost and schedule integration
  • Top Secret Clearance (within past 6 years)
