The Operations team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Operations Project Manager (OPM) based out of Woodland Hills, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between Engineering, Factory Management, Planning & Scheduling, Mission Assurance, Material Management and the Program Office.
• Present Program Quality, Delivery and Cost status for all Programs to Executive Leadership.
• Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet Schedule, Quality, Delivery and Cost to achieve client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Engineering, Factory Management, Mission Assurance, Material Management and Program Office.
• Prepare Cost Estimates for future business and performing Cost Account Management role.
• Develop Return to Green plans for Cost and Schedule variances as needed.
• Support Configuration Review Board for New Design releases or changes in design.

MANUMS

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience; Master's Degree 4 years experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work in a diverse group of senior leadership and communicate clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management.
• Proficient knowledge of MRP II Systems, SAP is preferred.
• 6-13 years of Manufacturing / Planning & Scheduling experience preferred.
• Able to work in a diverse group of senior leadership and communicate clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Vision PowerPoint and Project).
