Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of talented individuals in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Industrial Security Analyst provides day-to-day support of all security aspects for a facility. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and administer policies and procedures in compliance with Intelligence Community
Directive (ICDs) and NISPOM and will regularly interface with company leadership and customer security organizations. The successful candidate
will study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operation; obtain rulings, interpretations and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies; prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access
to restricted records and materials. The successful candidate must collaborate with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and others to ensure the security program is executed comprehensively, properly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with developing and coordinating program documentation to include Fixed Facility Checklists, Standard Operating Procedures, TEMPEST addendums, and co-use/co-utilization agreements. The selected candidate must have the ability to support multiple security environments with diverse security requirements. This position requires experience with personnel security, COMSEC, security education, conducting
security incident investigations, accreditation of secure areas at different levels, and performing access control and physical security responsibilities. The successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs.
- 6 years of security experience with a Bachelor's degree (additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree), or 4 years of experience with a Master's
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NISPOM requirements for protecting classified information; the ability to develop compliant procedures for program execution.
- Bachelors degree
- Current SCI clearance
- Completion of CDSE coursework including the FSO curriculum.
- NSA COMSEC certification.
- Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification
