Principal Industrial Security Analyst 3/4

Administer security procedures for classified, proprietary and sensitive materials, documents, etc. Participate/oversee security education program. Hands-on responsibility for industrial security program (e.g., document control, visitor control, etc.). Ability to write security/plant protection and emergency response-related procedures. May be required to conduct investigations pertaining to security violations. Extensive knowledge of the NISPOM and related regulations. Will be the Alternate CPSO for a Special Access Program (SAP) and Alternate COMSEC Custodian. Interacts with Government reps (DSS, Navy, etc.), customer reps, etc. Acts as the Alternate Facility Security Officer (FSO) in the absence of the Security Manager. Interface with contract guard force and contract agency management personnel. Applicant will be required to participate on the site's Emergency Response Team (ERT). Some relocation assistance may be available.

This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4:

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

Bachelor's degree and6 years directly related DoD industrial security experience; or 4 with MS Degree;experience in lieu of degree accepted.

Extensive familiarity with interpreting and implementing the requirements of the NISPOM.

MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Secret-level clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret.

Bachelor's degree and10 years directly related DoD industrial security experience; or8 with MS Degree;experience in lieu of degree accepted.

Extensive familiarity with interpreting and implementing the requirements of the NISPOM.

Preferred Qualifications:

MS Publisher
SIMS or similar database-type system
COMSEC training
Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification from DSS
Experience with interpreting and implementing the requirements of the JFAN and JSIG
Special Access Program (SAP) experience
