Northrop Grumman is looking for a COMSEC Principal Industrial Security Analyst who will manage all of procurement, fielding, and sustainment of Crypto/Keying material and devices. This individual will be responsible for the tracking, control and inventory requirements of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and company owned equipment. Occasional travel to other Northrop Grumman facilities.

The COMSEC responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring maximum COMSEC safeguards are in place, managing proper accountability, handling, storage, packaging, shipment, and administration of all cryptographic materials
  • Will perform installation, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of COMSEC equipment, as required, hands on experience of setting IP addresses, routes, rules and templates in CCI Devices and software upgrades, system equipment certifications
  • Other duties will involve the ordering and transfer of cryptographic keys, loading keying material to KGs, KIVs, Vipers, and numerous GPS units
  • Will interface with the help desk, and communicate with vendors
  • Will be responsible for the ongoing development, presentation and accurate record keeping of COMSEC security awareness training for all COMSEC users
  • Will assist with the transition from EKMS to KMI and fulfill KMI related duties once KMI is operational

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 6 years with Bachelors Degree OR 4 years with Masters Degree OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for Bachelors' degree
  • Experience to include COMSEC
  • Ability to support multiple sites in Huntsville, AL
  • Must be familiar with NSA/CSS policy manual 3-16, control of communications security (COMSEC) manual
  • Must have recent experience, within the last 3 years tracking all COMSEC inventory using the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) system
  • Must be a US Citizen with current Active Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience receiving, generating and distributing electronic keying materials
  • Knowledgeable of legacy Electronic Key Management System/Local management device/key processor (EKMS/LMD/KP)
  • Must be able to assist in shipping cryptographic products up to 50 pounds in weight
  • Must be committed to adopting and adhering to best practices including compliance with maintenance windows and change control procedures
  • Must possess strong analytic abilities and be meticulous and careful in their work
  • Experience with configuration for HAIPE in-line network encryptors e.g. KG 175D, KG 250X
