Principal Cyber Information Assurance Analyst / Top Secret / SCI

Are you ready to put your years of experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we need your experience as a Principal Cyber Info Assurance Analyst and join our growing team of diverse professionals in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

You will support projects related to cybersecurity evaluations for aircraft and ground support systems by researching and documenting system interfaces, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation options. You will become part of Northrop Grumman's Sustainment Engineering and Technical Center (SETC).

You will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where you will interact with users, customers and other developers. Our diverse work environment is comprised of nearly equal parts multidisciplinary engineers and other technical experts. Team members interact will interact with external Government customers and civil partners on a regular basis; perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. This is achieved through passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments. Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6-3), make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities. Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports. Document the results of Certification and Accreditation activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the system Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M. Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.

Your specific responsibilities include:

Conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.
Documents aircraft subsystem, ground system, and network/interconnect configurations and identifies intrusion or incident path and method. Identifies alternatives to isolate, block or remove threat access.
Evaluates system security configurations.
Performs analysis of complex software systems to determine both functionality and intent of software systems.
Resolves complex malware and intrusion issues.
Contributes to the design, development and implementation of countermeasures, system integration, and tools specific to Cyber and Information Operations


Basic Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related technical experience. An additional 4 years of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirements.
2. A current U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret Security Clearanceand beSCI eligibility

3. Experience in cyber threat analysis, vulnerabilities and threat mitigation.





Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in one of the following (Security+, Network+, VA CSP, CISSP, C|EH)
2. Experience in cyber threat analysis, vulnerabilities, and threat mitigation.
3. Experience in aircraft flight and mission systems.
4. Experience with Air Force customers and aerospace industry and military standards
5. Experience reviewing and developing cyber threat indicators and drafting threat warnings/briefings.
6. Ability to apply current technologies and IA requirements to the analysis, design, development, evaluation, and integration of computer/communication systems and networks to maintain an acceptable system security posture throughout the lifecycle of multiple national level mission systems
7. Knowledge in Multi-level Security/Cross Domain systems and operations with special requirements such as Program Protection, Anti-Tamper, Red/Black Separation and OPSEC.
8. Experience with analysis, disposition, and evaluation of both hardware and software
9. Experience in the management and maintenance of systems required to satisfy the Certification and Accreditation requirements under the NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, DCID 6/3, and the CNSS 1253.
