Pricing Analyst 3/4

Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems sector is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Woodland Hills, CA.

Where Technology and Teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems and will be working specifically on Rotary Wing and Future Vertical Lift Programs responsible for New Business Development as well as follow-on proposals in this dynamic business area. This individual will be the lead pricer in this growing business area and will be working with a team of talented individuals to develop cost proposals, participate in fact-finding, and negotiations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review RFP requirements
  • Work with leadership and hold kick-off's for various proposals
  • Participate in Cost Strategies
  • Prepare Cost Volumes per RFP instructions
  • Prepare Cost review packages to be presented to leadership
  • Participate in fact-finding and negotiations

This requisition may be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

  • Candidate's minimum education/experience qualifications: BS/BA degree with 10 years of progressive pricing experience or master with 8 years, or equivalent experience. In-depth understanding of procurement policies, procedures and regulations are essential.
  • Ability to work well in a team environments and lead negotiations is required, together with proven organization and strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and apply sound judgment to problem solving is required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

  • Candidate's minimum education/experience qualifications: BS/BA degree with 6 years of progressive pricing experience or master with 4 years, or equivalent experience. In-depth understanding of procurement policies, procedures and regulations are essential.
  • Ability to work well in a team environments is required. Candidate must have strong organizational skills, as well as very good oral and written communications. Ability to work with minimal supervision and apply sound judgment to problem solving required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Knowledge of Pro-Pricer desired
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Detailed oriented, conscientious individual
  • Leader with good excel skills, pivot tables and PowerPoint preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of management
  • MBA and experience in SAP is highly desirable
