Roles and Responsibilities:

This position is the Pricing Analyst Lead for all Program Proposals, ROMs and NTEs within the Navigation Maritime & Systems Division. Must be an excellent communicator with a strong business background to coordinate and

collaborate with various disciplines and communicate with all levels of management. This position is based in Linthicum, MD.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the cost volume lead for proposals assigned
  • Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other Requests
  • Developing realistic cost proposal schedules that meets requirements and deadlines
  • Participating as presenter at proposal kickoff meetings and leading the pricing strategy discussions
  • Developing the WBS, the CLIN pricing structure, and the proposal OBS
  • Generating detailed pricing using the estimates, pricing model, proposal structure, and pricing strategy
  • Developing and preparing cost volumes in accordance with RFP requirements
  • Supporting risk and opportunity assessments and lead the quantification and analysis of the risks/opportunities during the

proposal process

  • Acting as the primary interface with DCAA/DCMA during audits, supporting customer evaluation/fact-finding, and negotiations.

Basic minimum qualifications for a Level 2 to be considered for this position:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business/Mathematics or related area.
  • 3 Years of direct experience in Pricing with Bachelor's Degree or; 1 Year of direct experience in Pricing with Master's Degree.
  • Eager to learn, with excellent communication and self-motivational skills to meet deadlines.
  • A team player, independent, proactive and possesses excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle non-standard work hours.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.

Basic minimum qualifications for a Level 3 to be considered for this position:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business/Mathematics or related area.
  • 6 Years of direct experience in Pricing with Bachelor's Degree or; 4 Years of direct experience in Pricing with Master's Degree.
  • Eager to learn, with excellent communication and self-motivational skills to meet deadlines.
  • A team player, independent, proactive and possesses excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle non-standard work hours.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • At least 2-4 years of exposure or experience dealing with US government contracting in the defense industry.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Knowledge of TINA and FAR.
  • Knowledge of the business acquisition process.
  • Ability to work and interface with various levels of personnel and management across multiple divisions.
  • Ability to learn and master Northrop Grumman pricing and cost estimating tools
