Essential Functions:

  • Delivering formal training unit instruction for manned/unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to include, but not limited to formal student training, airmanship, aircraft systems & performance and development & execution of operational training guides.
  • Define, plan, organize and execute complex flight programs and flight events.
  • Conduct briefing and debriefing, and coordinate with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct vehicle discrepancies.
  • May conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials or other personnel to exhibit vehicle performance, flying qualities and system capabilities.
  • Must have a Secret Clearance prior to start and ability toobtainandmaintainprogram.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field plus9 years ofaviation experience.
  • Must be FAA instrument rated pilot (or military equivalent) plus current Class II FAA Physical or better.
  • Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience as Pilot in Command and able to maintain pilot currency.
  • Must have a current andactiveSecret Clearance with a completed background investigation within the past 6 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SAP/SAR program access.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • UAV flight experience and/or Military flight experience
  • Flight test operations experience
  • Formal Training Unit instructor experience is highly desired
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance, in scope within 5 years
