Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for aPilot Unmanned Aerialto join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Northrop Grumman is growing our team in Palmdale, CA and seeking a newPilot Level 3 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for developmental test and production acceptance flights for the RQ-4B and MQ-4C systems at USAF Plant 42. Remotely pilots vehicle to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability during engineering tests and flight test/demonstration support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers. Defines plans, organizes and executes complex flight programs and flight test events in accordance with military, FAA and ICAO procedures. Conducts briefings and debriefings, and coordinates with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct vehicle discrepancies. Candidate may conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials or other personnel to exhibit vehicle performance, flying qualities and system capabilities. Position based at Palmdale, CA requiring occasional travel. Selected candidate must successfully complete RQ-4 UAV training and qualification program and receive Government Flight Representative (GFR) certification as a basis for continued employment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus five years ofaviation experience.
Position requires experience as a flight operations crew member.
Must be FAA commercial instrument rated pilot (or military equivalent) plus current FAA Class II Medical or better.
Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience as Pilot in Command and able to maintain instrument currency in manned aircraft.
Must be hold a ActiveDoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Current/qualified in Global Hawk highly desirable.
Military flight experience highly desirable.
Flight test experience, multi-engine rated, FAA single engine commercial rating, aviation instructor experience also preferred.
