As a Software Engineer, you will be developing systems for a variety of spacecraft using current technologies and others yet to come... We are seeking team members who have a thirst for knowledge, approach each day with optimism, and have a relentless drive to solve complex problems . What you'll get to do?
This program is a sustainment program that ensures our operational programs in the customers' hands continues to perform at its best. Oftentimes, we will have capabilities added to our delivered system to provide enhancements to current capabilities. This affords a SW on this team the opportunity to debug and perform anomaly resolution and provide fixes to the large complex codebase, as well as do full SW lifecycle development for new capabilities. Deliveries are made directly to the customer sites. In a sustainment role like this, you often have the privilege to work directly with our customers in our facilities and at the operational sites to ensure you understand their needs and the quality/performance of the operational software. This allows you to have a direct role in influencing customer satisfaction. The OSC subsystem is focused on operating system security/information assurance. The baseline is written in C++ on Enterprise Red Hat Linux, and is transitioning to a virtualized environment. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience; Master's degree with 7 years of related experience
  • Experience in higher level programming languages
  • Demonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approaches
  • Must have a US Citizenship with current or active TS/SCI Access


Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency and interest in some of the below is highly beneficial for this role, and we will teach you what you don't know:
    • Languages such as C++, Python
    • Technology and platforms like Linux Red Hat
    • Computer security and regulations
    • Desire to work across teams
    • Desire to find and resolve problems in Software, as well as develop from a clean sheet
