Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an Operations Manager for an overseas program. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating mission planning, aviation operations, and sensor data collection. Maintains personnel and material accountability on site. Supervises all on site personnel while serving as the primary point of contact to government customers. Ensures that mission objectives are executed and synchronized with other mission assets. Ensures the execution and field standard logistics processes, such as the logistics & transport system, reliability database, field repairs and related functions. Leads on-site continuous improvement initiatives, and provides feedback to OCONUS staff for major system capability upgrades. Manages operational risk for site, enforces OPSEC and INFOSEC measures and ensures all quality objective are met.
This position will be located at Martin State Airport in Middle River, MD.
This position is contingent upon proposal/task award.
Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; additional 4 years of professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
At least two years of aviation operations supervisory experience
Previous experience deployed or working with deployed personnel
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Ability to pass physical
Ability to travel OCONUS 25% of time
Experience directly managing teams of over 20 preferred.
Current SECRET or higher Clearance
Former military aviation, intelligence or combat arms experience
Experience in southwest Asia
