Oper Unmanned Aerial Veh 3

Remotely operates unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) identified from ground control station or airborne platform and recovers vehicle. Plans and analyzes flight missions. Performs pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight checks and procedures. Stores and retrieves intelligence data using computer.

Work to be performed in Tooele and Dugway, UT, will require relocation to the local area. This position may require travel to locations overseas for a period of up to six months, as required. Responsibilities include instructing Remote controlled (RC) trainers and Hunter aircraft, conducting various evaluations, developing training material. May oversee and assist in air frame repair of the RC.,. May provide direct liaison with U.S. Army personnel. May provide guidance and training to Customer. Must have extensive knowledge in aircraft systems, aerodynamics, flight procedures, navigation, datalink theory, aviation terminology, radio communications, and advanced airmanship. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Associates Degree in related field and 3 years of applied experience. In lieu of formal education, 5 years of directly related experience may be considered. Must be able to obtain a class II FAA flight physical and be medically cleared to deploy to OCONUS locations (medical requirements available upon request). Secret Security clearance required to begin work. Must be able to obtain and maintain corporate travel card. Passport required. This position requires successful completion of initial qualification training as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hunter UAS External Operator Instructor qualified.
