Serves as a Warfighting function (WfF) Sustainment subject matter expert and supporting multifunctional areas on a team of contractors supporting the U.S. Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP). Trains military personnel on Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) and WfF specific simulation processes and procedures. Enforces realism of exercise through role playing and conflict adjudication and resolution. Supervise the work cell mission of translating training operations and plans into simulation inputs/tasking's and scripting requirements. Train and support work cell augmentees in reporting, role playing elements subordinate to the training audience. Ensure that the work cells WfF units/assets are simulated IAW current doctrine and unit SOP. Supports After Action Review (AAR) process by communicating significant events using the Workstation Reporting System (WRS). When required assists in pre-exercise planning by conducting site surveys and participating in planning conferences. When required assists in developing exercise plans, coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring planning progress and preparing contract deliverable items. Assists as required in the development and writing of Higher Command (HICOM) orders for Corps and Division exercises. Assists as required in the development of the simulation training Program of Instruction (POI). Maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army & Joint doctrine for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps. Within ninety days complete phase one certification per NGTS Phase 1 POI.
Basic Qualifications: • Minimum Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or Equivalent; graduate of a related Advance Course; BS or BA degree with 6 years of experience.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a DOD Secret clearance.
- Familiar with current Army and Joint Doctrine.
- Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software.
Preferred Qualifications: • Graduate degree. Brigade or higher staff officer experience.
- Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training.
- Previous experience as an instructor at a military course of instruction.
- Prior experience as an Observer Coach/Trainer.
