Serves as a Warfighting Function (WfF) (SOF) subject matter expert and supporting multifunctional area cell lead for a team of contractors supporting the Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP). Trains military personnel on the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) and WfF specific simulation processes and procedures. Enforces realism of exercise through role playing and conflict adjudication and resolution. Supervise the work cell mission of translating training audience operations and plans in to simulation inputs/tasking's and scripting requirements. Train and support work cell augmentees in reporting, role playing elements subordinate to the training audience. Ensure that the work cells WfF units/assets are simulated IAW current doctrine and unit SOP. Supports the After Action Review (AAR) process by communicating significant events using the Workstation Reporting System (WRS). When required, assists in exercise design and scenario development. When required assists in pre-exercise planning by conducting Site Surveys and participating in planning conferences. Assists in Developing exercise plans, coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring planning progress and timelines, and preparing contract deliverables items. Assists as required in the development and writing of HICOM orders for Corps and Division exercises. Assists as required in the development of the simulation training POI. Assists as required as a WfF SME for the development of the simulation Rules and Workarounds book. Conducts as required certification training in his/her assigned WfF. Assists as needed in maintaining the WARSIM WfF Data Base. Acts as required as the Assistant POC for various administrative additional duty positions. Maintains proficiency in the various simulations and models supporting Army training exercises. Maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army & Joint doctrine for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps.

Basic Qualifications: • Minimum Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or Equivalent; graduate of a related Advance Course; BS or BA degree with 6 years of experience.

  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a DOD Secret clearance.
  • Familiar with current Army and Joint Doctrine.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software.

Preferred Qualifications: • Graduate degree.

  • Brigade or higher staff officer experience.
