Our Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) organization at our Rolling Meadows facility provides complex avionics systems in Targeting, EOIR and RF technology areas. This Systems Engineer 4 requisition is for the RF technology area as a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer:

Modeling & Simulation:
Assignments include analysis and trades of product line architectures using analytical models and mission level simulations. A primary task for a modeling and simulations engineer is development of in-house models and algorithms. Strong domain knowledge combined with software development skills are required to produce the accurate models that drive critical analysis needs. As a member of a SEIT team, a Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer gains a deep understanding of how our system architecture and design process meets our mission level goals.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or related technical degree with 9+ years related experience
5 years of demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem solving skills in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
Active Security Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or related technical degree with 7+ year(s) related experience
Experience with real-time signal processing in both firmware and software.
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Experience in development and management of cost accounts and schedules as related to Systems Engineering tasks
Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, or other scripting languages
Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts
Working knowledge of DOORS and ClearCase/ClearQuest
Working knowledge of the RF technology area: sensors/antennas, transmitters/receivers, detection and tracking
Active Top Secret clearance
Ability and willingness to travel
