Mission Planner (Test Conductor 4)
Mission Planner Responsibilities: Develop mission plans which include the peer review, 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) checks of mission plans, testing mission plans in the simulator and laboratory. Participate in mission rehearsals and train pilots on the mission planning system. Coordinate with operations schedulers to obtain range clearances and participate in pre and post-test briefings. Administer computer equipment hosting mission planning system/tools, to include performance of audits, system security planning, etc. Overtime, different shifts, and weekend work will be
Proficient in the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS). 6 years of aviation experience, with a minimum of four years experience as a military mission planner.
Minimum experience/education: 9 years experience with bachelor's; 7 years with master's; 4 years with PHD.
Current Top Secret security clearance required.
Must be able to obtain access to a SAP clearance.
Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and related aviation experience.
