Mission Assurance Manager (3)- Salt Lake City, UT

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a proven leader for our Mission Assurance Manager 3 located in Salt Lake City, UT. Relocation assistance may be available. 10% travel.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintains the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics.

Leverages comprehensive metrics, customer and employee feedback to assess program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission success.

Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards.

Responsible for the preparation of proposals for the Mission Assurance team.

Interfaces with executives and customer representatives including on-site DCMA representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications.

Influence and impact strategy for the program, quality, Mission Assurance while driving innovative change.

Regularly provides analysis of alternative courses of action for continued program quality.

MAQEA

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.

8-10 years of related functional experience.

5 years of experience managing individual contributors and managers.

Experience with technical and project management.

Demonstrated understanding of the program / product lifecycle in one or more of the following in the areas: new business pursuit, design, supply chain management, receiving operations, inventory control, production control, product test & evaluation, reliability, root cause analysis, product sell off, and/or shipping and product support.

Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success leading broad organizations within cost and schedule.

Active Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of experience in Quality/Quality Management.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality Management System certification process.

Master's degree in engineering or technical field.

Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification to drive continuous improvement.

Familiarity with SAP, a plus with Mission Assurance transactions.

Demonstrate a proven track record of solving complex problems through systematic and objective evaluation of information resulting in effective communication, championing, and implementation of change with a diverse set of internal and external customers and suppliers.
